PENANG, MALAYSIA: 16 – 19 APRIL 2019 --( ASIA TODAY )-- Arkadin Cloud Communications, the world’s fastest growing Cloud Communications Services Provider and a member of NTT Communications, recorded an impressive year growth, especially in the sales of its products jointly developed with Microsoft, Cisco and BlueJeans, wherein year-on-year growth rates of 543%, 35% and 25% were achieved respectively.

Arkadin APAC rolled out its 4-day-3-night annual kick-off in Penang, Malaysia, to celebrate its nineteenth year in operations as the provider of first-class Cloud Communications solutions. Its collaborators include the world’s leading technology providers such as Adobe, Cisco, IBM, Microsoft, inXpo, BlueJeans, Kollective and Poly.

Themed “TIDE” (which stood for “Together In Delivering Excellence”), this annual Kick-Off event happened in 3 locations simultaneously around the globe. With 150 attendees in the APAC Kick-Off alone, a global webcast was organized across the three TIDE locations to connect more than 1300 attendees around the globe.

Mr. Sean Kwek, Managing Director of Arkadin APAC explained, “It is no longer about managing people. It is about empowering, coaching and guiding them, as well as to involve them in the processes of decision making efficiently.

In the past, large enterprises would typically gather their 1000+ employees physically in one place for their townhall meeting, which is rather costly. Today, with our Cloud Communications and smart workspace solutions, we are able to reduce travelling costs, increase productivity workflow, as well as track employee engagement. In turn, the HR department would be able to assess engagement based on big data collected from the devices utilized during the various interactions.”

The Unified Communications platform can also be accessed via all sorts of devices to enhance collaboration and increase productivity across teams.

“There is a belief that the consumption of new technology is primarily driven by large enterprises, and small enterprises are lagging behind. On the contrary, the reality is that a lot of new, small enterprises had been founded by millennials, and their appetite for technology is extremely strong (stronger than large enterprises). With this, we see them to continue leading technology consumption in the next 3 to 5 years, that’s why Arkadin developed Spoka.

This cloud-based, subscription model caters to SMBs who want a solution that is easy to use, scalable and cost-effective. Spoka was launched in Europe in March 2019, and is now available in Asia Pacific, including Malaysia,” explained Kwek.

Arkadin and NTT Communications also presented a cheque of RM20,000 to The Children’s Protection Society, Penang, received by Ms. Magdeline Leong, Vice-President of The Children’s Protection Society, and a RM20,000 cheque to the The Salvation Army Penang Children’s Home, received by Becky Lurence, representative of The Salvation Army Penang Children’s Home, during the kick-off, as well as a RM2,000 raised during the Gala Dinner to the Cambodian Children’s Fund.
